Sensory Tactile Laboratory
This week our Early Learning classes went on a field trip to I Pini di Aquilino where they were able to experience contact with nature with all five senses.
This special trip not only acted as a great bonding experience for the children, but it also perfectly complimented what the children have been learning about in class this term: Spring and Lifecycles.
They enjoyed a beautiful Spring day exploring nature, and its natural resources. There were many activities for example, walking through the bamboo forest, walking on the sensory path barefoot, or balancing on rope walkways and also going through a labyrinth tunnel. Finally, the children got to build a teepee using wooden logs.
It was a very quiet (and sleepy) bus ride back to school!
